GENERAL

Although the Flitefone® System and nationwide air-to-ground radiotelephone coverage remains a viable airborne communication system and is expected to be operational for many years to come, Wulfsberg has discontinued manufacturing the airborne equipment. However, Wulfsberg may be able to supply some of the system components from available inventory.

The Wulfsberg Flitefone® VI Airborne Radiotelephone System is designed to provide full duplex airborne telephone service.  It can be operated from the aircraft cockpit or the cabin using the appropriate control units.  The Flitefone® VI System is completely compatible with the existing manual system and provides operation in the Air/Ground Radiotelephone Automated Service (AGRAS).

  • Automated AGRAS operation
  • 1+, 0+, 01+, 011+ calls
  • Office phone operating environment
  • All solid-state design
  • Microprocessor-based logic design
  • Modular construction
  • Small size, light weight
  • Low power consumption
  • Burnout resistant transmitter
  • High receiver sensitivity
